Panchakanya Mai Hydropower (PMHPL) has reported a 112 percent increase in profit in the first quarter of the current fiscal year. 

The company has earned a profit of Rs. 163.7 million in the first quarter of the current fiscal year as against Rs. Which is 112.25 percent more than last year.
The company's profit has increased as its revenue from electricity sales has increased. Revenue from the sale of electricity from its two projects has increased by 25 percent and 2 percent respectively.

During this period, the company has earned Rs. 150 million from electricity sales. Its operating income has also increased by 16 percent.

With the increase in profit, the company's earnings per share have increased by 12 rupees 26 paise to 23 rupees 19 paise and net worth per share is 99 rupees 29 paise.
